The Important Things

To be honest I am a little disappointed today. I thought people would see my blog and want to follow give posts ect. Oh well if only one person sees this and knows they are not alone I have accomplished my purpose. It seems like some days all you see is your inadequacies in all that you do. I feel sometimes that for everything I catch up on there's 10 more things to do. My kids are so miraculous to me. No matter what they can't do they keep a smile on there face. My oldest who I will refer to as Samantha took until 5th grade to learn single digit adition. Whenever I would ask how math was going she would tell me it was hard but if she kept trying she would get it. I don't think most adults could have her persistance and patience. She now is a model beautiful 15 year old who still counts on her fingers but, she's right she did learn. She still has problems with money conepts, fractions, and time but, the things that are most important in life like kindness towards others, persitance, patientence, faith, and honesty she has down pack. What a blessing she is in our lives.

  1. Hello, I was told about your blog through another Mom over at Everything Mom.com.

I've been blogging for 3 years about my own experiences as a mom of kids with learning disabilities (mine also is LD in Math and has dyspraxia, a motor coordination disorder). My husband is also dyslexic. You can find my blog at http://cookienotes.blogspot.com, or if you'd like to come on over to http://everythingmom.com there is a group for Moms of LD kids. :)

Hope to see you around! Be patient with the blogging thing, it takes a LONG time to build up a following.
